The Southern Table is a celebration of the cuisine, culture, and people of the southeastern United States. We’ll cover everything from traditional food, to grandma’s index card favorites, with a spot of Nouveau Southern cuisine thrown in for good measure.
Culturally speaking, we intend to bring stories that embody the spirit of the south, and it’s traditions, as it relates to food, festivals, and celebrations.
In other words, things that are uniquely “southern.”
Finally, we’ll touch on southerners. Whether they’re home-grown southerners, or transplants from various places all over the world, we want to bring you their stories. Restauranteurs, cooks, chefs, people, families and foreigners, that are making waves, big or small, in the new south.
